I Have a Question

Do you know the exact meaning of K K K ?
Fear and ignorance play a very big role in hate, (mom always taught me not to use the word hate, indifferent is far more accurate.) but when it comes down to hate can be a very motivating emotion. We hate that others have what we don't. We hate when others appear to get what we don't. We hate that people have a different view then us. And typically when they have never done anything to us. Fear of loosing something, because humans have a history of taking from, not giving to. Intolerance and hate are survival instincts from primal ages through our early history. And when ever a person who has hate in their heart motivated by fear of change or loss, you have the beginnings of every evil done to mankind throughout history. Growing up in the sixties we were taught not to trust anyone over 30. At 61 it's quite hard for me to trust anyone because to often they haven't moved past those survival instincts.

@joanie - I love hearing interesting bits of history that you'll never hear in school. It's amazing how the popular media can be used to make people look at themselves.

Star Trek had an episode where people had black and white faces and hated each other - the reason? they had the colors reversed. You thought HOW STUPID and then went ..."oh...."

well it is a secret society but it's purpose is to promote white supremacy and in it's most active period the members lynched and whipped people based on their skin color. They dealt in fear as well as secrecy

I believe the words were supposed to resemble the sound of cocking a rifle at that time (the 1860s).
Did you know The original radio broadcast (before television) of Superman, was to change the public perception of the KKK (klu klux Klan) from something good to something evil. Superman was the representation of truth justice and the American way. The KKK a very pro dominant political movement of the "democrat" part was attempting to dominate and keep black's sur pressed through bully tactics.

@joanie - I had NEVER heard that before - sure enough - you are correct. How cool
@unclebuck When I first heard that store I was loving it. Superman was a childhood hero of mine, and "truth justice and the American way" seems to be woven into my DNA (ancestor signed DOI). And I so hate any concept of segregation and denial of rights and freedoms to any individual, community or lifestyle.

it may stand for many things but in the United States it is the white supremacist group known as the Ku Klux Klan and started shortly after America's Civil War (1861-1865)
