I Have a Question

Anyone else get annoyed at the logic of movies/ tv series when a person kidnaps someone, bounds and gags them (to stop they screaming for help) then starts asking questions such as 'where is.....?' multiple times before removing the gag?

I would probably be less frustrated if they removed the gag after the first time the question ask, but they don't. They just keep asking over and over again and hitting the kidnapped person like they are simply refusing to answer
