I Believe In the Power of Prayer
There's been something going down here in South Africa--ANC (the ruling party) delegates having been voting for a new leader.
Someone was woken up at 3 in the morning and shown this huge bat-like satanic thing over parliament or something in the spiritual realm and told to pray about this conference.
I felt a burden to pray about it and so I got on my knees, starting off in some worship before asking the Lord to dispatch and release His angelic armies to fight against and defeat satanic influence over this conference so that the right leader would be elected. I quoted back to the Lord a personal promise He had given me a while ago which is related to this conference.
(Shortly before my going to bed, my brothers were going for a run at around 11:00pm)
This morning, my mother told me that she was dreaming about these demons and about some sort of demonic attack and that the Lord woke her up from a deep sleep (and my dad at about the same time), it seems at the same or about the same time that I was praying this prayer, telling her the words that she clearly heard, that went something like, "Pray for [name], cover him in prayer and stand in agreement with him. He's praying for the ANC conference."
She said something like, the Lord showed her that the enemy was going to attack me and/or my family because of my prayer.
She also said that shouting was heard from the next door neighbour, like someone was caught trying to break into his car or something.
Now, in relation to my brothers, I believe that the enemy drops thoughts or ideas or impressions into peoples' minds to get them to do stuff; and it appears that the enemy may have planned to take one or more of my brothers out as revenge or as an attack in retaliation for this prayer.
Furthermore, this event is like an answer to prayer concerning something else I had been praying about. It's also encouraging.
