Maybe this group has an excessively negative name but on the 6th of January Italian children all get presents, exactly like Christmas, for the night of the Befana ( night of the witch ) which coincides with the epifany. So they get presents twice....

According to our Spanish tradition, it is the Three Wise Men who bring gifts to children, also on 6th January. Like anyone else, we have imported many American traditions, and nowadays kids get presents on both 6th January and 25th December.
