I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

Many people have no idea and can't even begin to imagine the things that black people have been through and continue to go through. So if you think that we are all just easily triggered and we victimize ourselves, you need a reality check. Open your eyes.

Thank you. That is so true. What is often not understood is that many of us don’t share the things we experience in rl with non-black friends, partners or even family members...all they could do with the information is feel helpless or pitying. Here is a good place to vent. 😊

@bijouxbroussard That's very interesting. I never thought about that particular aspect too much. I will say that people who are preoccupied with race, no matter the color they are, make me back away slowly.
