I Am Going to Say Something Controversial

Today's country music. Are they serious? Is there a point? We already had 80's pop -- in the 80's! When I want to listen to country music, which isn't that often, I want to listen to country! You know, Haggard and Jones. When I want to listen to 80's pop, I just play some 80's pop, turning on a country station doesn't even occur to me. This stuff stopped being country a long time ago.

Sing about something different for fuck sake. All the songs sound the same too

There are a few country artist today who still get it right. Margo Price, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell come to mind.
