I Feel Like My Dreams Are Telling Me Something

This morning before I woke up I dreamed of my dog Princess. She passed away last June. I dreamed that I was at home petting her and her little tongue was out. I was so happy and it so felt real until I remembered she wasn't alive anymore.
In the dream I wanted to cry and I woke up tearing up.
