I Hmmmm

i have a deep hatred for Bakersfield Ca . i wish i could move away from this depressing dump . it is hell here a mere cesspool i have no luck when it comes to meeting someone i'd actually be interested in . most men here are insecure incels they are bitter and hard on the eyes . sometimes it feels like remaining single is much better than settling for any of these schmucks whom i despise . i hate this neighborhood where i currently reside in . it is filled with people of my race who i am ashamed and embarrassed by due to their dirty unruly nature . i wish i would get out of here soon this neighborhood is hot and depressing . the streets and littered and full of hobos it's like an apocalypse here . it's part of the reason why i have remained alone by choice the selection of men here is subpar not anything to choose from . this is my rant it's like the older i get i a can relate to Michael Douglas's character in Falling down . ugh i hate this hick / paisa town i pray god helps me leave this awful neighborhood i am stuck in . that's my rant today i am feeling more on the meh side today realizing how messed up things truly are .

That's Bakersfield for you,
I used live in Yucaipa, California. I

When I first moved there 10 years ago it was great.
But, the same thing happened, the city got over populated. Drugs, drunks, and paisas where running rampet out there.
I moved to Friday.Smith Arky. Live it here, the people are warm, friendly, outgoing, and caring.Out side of it getting humid and the bugs the place is great.

It may not be the best place for you to be, however, I would bet you, you're going to find many of the same things you despise, elsewhere. The things and people around you just are that they are. The charge you apply to all of that - that it's a depressing dump, that the men there are insecure, bitter and hard on the eyes, etc., is all created and applied by you. And anywhere you go, there you are. You may try a different neighborhood. Do your best at picking one that suits you. You might be surprised how much of your negativity is within you, and not in external things.

Good Luck.
@Smalltownwitch So, what's keeping you there?

@Smalltownwitch That sounds like a good plan. Do you have ideas of where it is you would like to move to? Have you made tentative plans?

You have my sympathy. I lived in Hanford during the 80s and the only drawback was I didn’t come from the area.
I never liked Bakersfield either. Just drove through it many times.

I felt similarly about my hometown, so I left it behind. Smartest decision I've ever made.

You think that's bad? Be glad you don't live in East L.A., Compton, or Inglewood.

@Smalltownwitch Well I had no clue it was that bad. I hope you get out of there soon.

Sounds like hell on earth. Hope you can get away from there soon.
