Yes often my parents say if we can misbehave in front of guests then we can be disciplined in front of them as well

It doesn't matter how old I get if me or any of my sisters disrespect my parents we can expect a trip over their knee

I'm soo sorry! I went through the same hell about two weeks ago. I don't think I will ever get over it!

So it should be .... getting older isn't an excuse for disrespect .... the lessons in tough to on my home were not limited to my new Hildreth but extended to anyone in my home, relatives and friends included ..... Now in their 30's my daughter's friends still treat me with the same level if respect ....

As they got older some of there friends parents let them get away with disrespect in their homes .... That was not the case in my home so every now and then reminders in the form of a sore 😢 bottom were needed ....

LOL I always told my children if you don't want to be spanked in front of your friends don't misbehave in front of or with them ...

Yes that has earned many a sore bottom 😢 and time to reconsider what words and actions they should choose...

Must be humiliating. But you also myst enjoy it or you would behave in front of company.
