I wonder what there was in the air or water in the former Czecholovakia in the 1960 that fostered the creation on some of the imaginative, original movies in history.
On the Slovak side this time, Miraculous Virgin deals with the mechanisms behind creation and sexuality (thankfully in a poetic rather than freudian way), embodied in young Anabella, a young woman whose presence stirs inspiration, desire and lust in a group of young artists. But is she real? Or just an image?
