I Want to Know

Why bad things happen to good people.
Karma?
God?

The Old Testament book of Job was written to ask the same question.

@OceanKayak: BTW, if you have trouble understanding things (which isn't unusual) PM me and I'll help.

@MasterDvdC: Wow, thank you 🙂

@OceanKayak: Not a problem. Not a Biblical scholar but I do know quite a bit.

Because liars hate honest people. Because dishonorable people hate honorable people. Because selfish people use selfless people. We live in an unethical society, as part of an unethical species.

Why in the world would you think that doing the right thing or being a good person would somehow magically mean that good things happen to you? That would only happen if we lived in a perfect, just world full of incredibly good people. The world isn't just or fair or perfect, and people certainly aren't good.

Life happens to us all. Enjoy your trips around the sun. You have a limited number of them.
OceanKayak · 31-35, M
You're right. We should all just take our lumps and enjoy what we have.

?

i'm not sure i'm good.. i'm not bad but i wear the appropriate gear for those times it's deemed necessary.

and if that doesn't work, and it should, then i consider the source.
they or it doesn't like it too bad!
OceanKayak · 31-35, M
I think that's a good way to look at things. 👍🏼

different people view the world differently of course, what you may consider bad i may consider agood thing and vice versa.
OceanKayak · 31-35, M
True. It's all about perspective isn't it? 🙂
Fleursdumal · 41-45, F
mostly... : )

Bad people don't accept it, rather they project it onto others. Good people try hard not to hurt others and bear the burden.
OceanKayak · 31-35, M
I think good people sometimes bear the burden too often.

Idk I wish I could disappear. Just vanish and never been seen or heard from again.

"Why me?"

"Why not?"
OceanKayak · 31-35, M
Haha. Sometimes it's like that huh?
freebird · F
@OceanKayak: Yes, I've come to accept life in that way
OceanKayak · 31-35, M
@freebird: You're right of course 🙂
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
