I Hate Myself Sometimes

Killing off a character in a story...is always a big no no for me, especially if it's my character or any main character. I did that once in a story involving my best friend and well...their character basically was brainwashed/turned evil in the story, not actually dead or anything..just brainwashed. And I had a breakdown over it, like I thought that I actually killed them.
