To go or not to go
So my ex’s brother in law passed away. The memorial is on Sunday. Part of me wants to go to pay my respects. But the other part, I don’t want to see my ex with is new girlfriend. Should I go or not?

No, I don't think you should go. I don't see how you have a vested interest in your ex's brother in law. It would seem a very random connection for you to attend.
