My symptoms of an attack is the picture in my mind..all the cabinets are opening flying out of my dresser to the floor. Off the hangers in my closet, I become immobile. Unable to replace everything back in the closets. I visualize this TWISTER in my house and I am immobile
St. Johns Wort does this for me. It cleans up the mess and I fall back to normal. Perhaps I am one of the lucky ones. Still if there is a NATURAL healing process over a chemical I will take natural in a HEART BEAT!

It's not expensive. Sold most everywhere.

If you use a computer to come in here, look up St. Johns Wort. You will find how great this herb is and how long it has been used for calming our issues.
Try and stay NATURAL in your healing. Doctors are pushed by paramedicals to deliver their products. In your next visit with your Doctor please ask a Natural medication over Chemical. Ask them about St. Johns Wort.

Go see your doctor and ask for a referral to a therapist.
You need to find the root cause of this and a good therapist will help find it and give you help in coping.

I'm so sorry to hear that. :( Anxiety and panic attacks are really tough to deal with.

Have you tried meditation? Sometimes I have to do it for a while before it helps, but for me, it always does. There's a pretty good app called Headspace you can get, there's ten sessions for free, and it's 10 minutes per meditation. :)

Other than that, distracting yourself with a hobby, talking to people (unless that makes you more anxious), reading... try to distract yourself.

Another thing that really helps me combat the physical symptoms is exercise. Even a 30 minute brisk walk can really help for a few hours.

I'm still figuring it out too, but that works for me, and I hope it might help you too!
