I would never do it, but I'd be lying if I said I've never thought about it. Legit, every time I'm watching any show where a baby is just born, there is always a scene where someone asks if they could hold the baby.

I ALWAYS play out a scene in my head where the carrier just drops the baby on its head in front of the mother. And the baby dies, which makes this the mother's greatest regret. And the person who was holding onto the baby, imagine how they'd feel! Neither would be able to get a wink of sleep... The mother would forever think "why did I let them hold my baby?" Meanwhile the baby-murderer would now think, "I absolutely ruined a woman's life and killed her child..."

But it never happens on TV. They just look at that wrinkled glob of a human and make coochie-coochie-coo sounds or something. And I gotta admit, I get a little disappointed for the show not taking that dark turn. After all, we need something new and refreshing to watch.

This post is worrying. You do sound like a psychopath.

@SW-User No, it's similar to when you're high up and have the urge to jump
@Rolexeo yup yup. It's not that we'll do it, but a small part in the back of our heads like to play out the scenario, no matter how messed up it is to ourselves or others. The moment I actually take action on it is when it becomes messed up.
@SW-User If it helps, I've held many babies before in my life and have never dropped any of them despite thinking of it every time lol.

@Rolexeo Yes, it's similar to finding pleasure in tormenting animals because they are helpless. Just like babies. That's how murderers start. Especially since he has these persistent antisocial apathetic thoughts. Let's hope it just stays in his head. Or better just goes away.

@LookingForSomethingNew Good. I hope you never act on those thoughts. How did it start if you don't mind me asking.
@SW-User it's not that I find pleasure in tormenting others or animals, it's that I find pleasure in playing out a scene we would normally never experience in our lives. I can differentiate between real life and thoughts, so I have no problem seeing someone suffer in my mind because I know it isn't reality. But I would definitely hate to see someone suffer in real life.
@SW-User I've had those random thoughts as long as I could remember. Can't remember anything really triggering it. No accidents at any point or as the insult goes I've "never been dropped as a baby" lmao. (Pun most definitely intended)

@LookingForSomethingNew As long as you can separate between fantasy and reality and act according to conscience you're good. However, the way you dwell on it sounds unhealthy to me.
@SW-User No worries, I see it all as a joke since it's all fake. I'm sure many people won't find it funny, but humor has always been subjective :P It's just how the mind works, I guess.
SW-User
@LookingForSomethingNew Maybe when you have a baby on your own those thoughts would stop. I hope so. All the best ~
@SW-User Oh god no, I hate babies and kids lol. My family name ends with me. But I appreciate the positive thoughts :)
