I Get Lost In My Thoughts Sometimes

Death is always on the way, but the fact that you don't know when it will arrive seems to take away from the finiteness of life. It's that terrible precision that we hate so much. But because we don't know, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens a certain number of times, and a very small number, really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, some afternoon that's so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more. Perhaps not even. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless.

Without death, life wouldn't precious at all. Knowing that everything we see and feel, everything we are, will die and remain in the past even 5 minutes from now. like some old black&white photo, should make us appreciate fragility and miracle of each moment. But we can't, because we are too fukked up

@Jentlemen I agree with you 😌

@Kalina Would tell you a lot more, but this is NOT one of my good days. Some other time maybe

@Jentlemen It is okay, we all have those days,...take care and I hope days become better for you soon.

It's easy to see life as precious while we're still ignorant of the nature and cause of existence.

The amount of suffering that is all too real to the agents that feel it, begs the question if being is worth it at all.

I often contemplate such. My closest friend died 6 months ago from cirrhosis of the liver - alcoholism. He was only 37. We're not even a blip on the cosmic scale

@DanielChristensen I am so sorry to hear that,...and yeah one never took the time to savour the details; one said: another day, but always with the hidden knowledge that each day was unique and fatal, that there never would be a return, another time....
