I Wear Dresses and Skirts

Partly because I am very short (4'9"), I am not that comfortable wearing jeans or trousers. They draw attention to how small I am and the styles that I can get in my size are quite childish.

Dresses and skirts make me feel more adult. I am quite skilled at needlework, so I can make any adjustments to make my clothes fit better. For school we are allowed to wear our own clothes in the 6th form, but they have to be smart and business like. I can't get very inspired in the winter when I am trying to stay warm. I have two skirt suits, which are grey, and I wear them with black tights. I am looking forward to the warmer weather, when I can go bare-legged and bring my prettiest summer dresses out of the wardrobe.

I feel like an ugly little duckling at present, but I know soon I will turn into a beautiful swan 😌🦆
