I Have Chronic Back Pain

It started with a quack chiropractor fragmenting A slipped disc - then a discectomy - then artificial disc implant which was a horrible decision - then ultimately due to deterioration of L3L4 disc and artificial disc at L4L5 full of arthritis - had spinal fusion at both levels via DLIF & XLIF. That was on 7/5/17. Recovering now with hopes of being pain free or greatly reduced. Maybe off opioids for first time in decades.

No I have not. This last operation takes 6-12 months healing time was state of the are with hard implanted to properly space my poor lower spine. Total cost billed to insurance $300K.
Have hope that with time I'll get better. Heard good things about this surgeon and surgery.

Have you tried acupuncture? I understand, (from people I know who have tried it and from those who work in the field,) that acupuncture really helps in reducing many types of pain.
