I Love My Dad

When I was visiting my sister earlier today to wish her a happy birthday, she received a phone call from our dad. He called to sing her happy birthday. My sister was so touched that she cried and even I got a little misty-eyed. I thought it was just so sweet. Funny thing how just the simplest thing of calling someone up and singing them a song they've heard countless time before can make them so emotional. I guess you just have to hear it at the right time and from the right person. And for us, our dad is simply the best person for that.

I miss my dad. When I miss him I call my brother - he sounds exactly like my dad even though he hates to admit it lol 😂

Awww that's awesome! My dad has called with my mom to sing happy birthday before, but never on his own. I think I'd end up crying too if he did.
