Looks like a juvenile black rat snake or juvenile Prairie Kingsnake. Both are common in the Midwest. Both non-venomous

As long as we’re posting snake pics (no I’m not unzipping my pants). Here’s a an adult Black Rat snake that found its way into my house. I just shooed it outside; they’re good mousers

Nice we had 1000s of snakes in africa . Out in the bush you had to watch every step.
