I Battle Depression

I have depression for 18 years and am pregnant now. I thought I would be okay with it but now I don’t think I can be a mother. I regret of being pregnant. I feel like dying when I woke up in the morning. Can’t work, avoid seeing people and can’t do anything. I’m so weak. Maybe no one understand because most mothers are strong.
You’re not alone. Many people regret having children, but no one talks about this.

That's par for the course for depression, you aren't alone. Even in mothers, depression can be devastating, so don't listen to all of the "mother's are strong and unbreakable" nonsense. I wish I could give you a magic solution, but for the most part depression is just learning to ride it out and keeping people around on the extremely bad days.

Depression is deadly.I bet it's hard to think of the joy that lil one will bring while you are in a dark place.Maybe therapy would help.Mothers are not necessarily strong.Everyone is different.I do think once you feel better, you will be able to focus on the good things in life.I will pray for you.

You have to push those feelings aside at this point. Those are not feelings you want to pass on. Perhaps some form of therapy is in order. Anyone can be strong... you can too.

Your baby needs and deserves an upbeat mom. If you're depressed now how are you going to handle possible postpartum depression while going without proper rest?

I felt that way when I was told I was going to be a father.

Perhaps consider getting therapy or maybe adopting out?
Find adoptive parents.

I understand the feeling to some degree and I feel bad for you. However now you've made your decisions and will have to deal with them... so let's think postively about this. I am sure you will raise to accomplish the task.
