I Battle Depression

Peppa · 31-35, F
Its hard when you see it as a weakness.
When you believe that strength comes from holding everything in and always showing a tough brave face.
Freedom comes when you release those shackles and say, I'm not ok, but thats ok...
The first step is admitting it to yourself.

Thats when self care takes over and those symptoms you have spilling over become the focus of understanding who you are, and setting better boundaries for yourself and developing self respect and esteem.

Its tough, and we all struggle but this is your life and we only get one short shot at it, make it worth [big]Your[/big] while.

Friends and family may not understand, some may be supportive others not. But you have to ask yourself, are they responsible for your well being or are you?

Best wishes x

It’s hard to expect people to understand something we don’t understand ourselves but it’s even harder to live with their judgment and blame.

You must know, I'm here. Easy to talk to, listens without judging, understanding and heartfelt.😔👍🤗💕
I hope it is easy to talk to me though. After all I know these feelings well:(
