I Want to Tell You About My Day
Okay, so my husbands best friend was in a bad accident and still has to make a lot of trips to doctor appointments when he goes to the appointments someone has to take him. Once my husband and I both took him and when they called his name I didn't realize they had called him and was surprised he was getting up because I forgot his name is Jason. Admitting this made he and hubby laugh at me uncontrollably.
Friday morning I took him by myself because my husband just had his gall bladder taken out. We get to the doctor office and go in. He checks in and the room is full and his appointment isn't for about 25 minutes he tells me he's going to the restroom and if they call him to let them know he'll be right back.
I don't hear them call him. He comes back we waited an hour and a half he gets up and goes asks why they haven't called him. They tell him they [i]did[/i] and when he didn't respond the second time they called him (I didn't even hear 1 of those 2 times) they moved to the next person assuming he left, and he would have to reschedule his appointment, but since someone canceled their appointment he could be squeezed in within an hour. He opted to reschedule altogether because it was time to pick his youngest up from pre-k.
I apologized to him as I drove him over to the school to get his little and tell him I didn't hear them call his name. He looks at me and says jokingly "You do know my name is Jason don't you?" 馃槀
