At the end of the film, when Finn (whose rummaging through the Falcon’s many storage compartments is a new running gag) looks for something to help an injured Rose, we see the books hidden in a drawer, put there by Rey and then, at the very end of the film, we see a group of slave children (and the little boy with the broom) tell the story of Luke and his final battle. They’re happy, excited, curious, and captivated by a tale of magic and wonder.
