I Want People to Share Their Poetry

Shallow spirits and empty minds,
Echo a heartbreaks lullaby,
Wakeless days filled with dreaming,
As nights spent learning to fly,
Happy thoughts haunted by darkness
Shadows lost in a nightmare memory,
A ship of pirates coming to take,
The last of the lights fondest reverie,
Confined to a world of locks and cages,
A soul stuck in the place in between,
The crow longing for release,
Unable to whisper nor scream,
Wishing endlessly for a place of adventure,
As age comes swiftly without warning,
Searching for just a pinch of fairy dust,
Second star to the right and straight on till morning.
