Richt sir yeer text I'll prove it true
though heretics may lauch,
fer instance thairs yersel enoo.
God kens an unco calf

An in yeer lug maist revernt Jeems
tae hear ye rair an rowt,
few men o' sense wad doot yeer claims
tae rank amang the nowt.

An whan some kynd connubial dear
yeer butt an ben adorns,
I doot na sir that ye wull weer
a noble heid o' horns.

An whan yeer nummered wi the deid
ablaw a grassy hillock,
wi justice they may merk yeer heid,
here lies a famous bullock.
