I Dont Understand My Childhood Friend Anymore

So this afternoon I brought up an event from our childhood when we were nine or so that I had been thinking of after answering someone's question of what do you regret from childhood.

I brought up how once again we lied on her sister and that the tyrant their father beat her sister because of our lie.

You know what she said...."didn't happen" I wish my mind could erase things so easily.

She seems to forget all the bad stuff that ever happened and make up false memories to fill the gaps. She always had an unique personality but this is new even for her.
