I Am The Other Woman

I will have to start a new group on help in getting over an affair. My MM of three years got bad news today. He went with his wife to her doctor appointment. She found out she is worsening. She clung to him and cried. She said to him "You are all I have." So of course, he is reeling with guilt. I told him that I completely understand. He needs to be there for her and take care of her. I never wished any ill will on her as I know she is in pain daily. So we are ending things. I am glad it is the holidays and I will be busy with my kids so that I am not so devastated at losing him.

You may not have noticed it, but preaching is all you've been doing, and as to the self-important part: "I am beautiful, strong, funny and smart." and you're so picky, only one person made the cut, and single guys are beneath you. Self absorbed much?

I'm all for civil conversations, and taking one case at a time, but your generalizations, make it all but impossible.

Just focus on having fun at the holidays and your kids and maybe taking some alone time when possible. It's all you can really do. We all do make mistakes and it must feel sad to have lost someone you care about. But time will pass and you will feel better.
