I'm looking for tips on efficient weekly menu planning. After consulting my budget, I've realized that I eat out far too often on a monthly basis.

To save money, I've decided I should do weekly menu planning. I tend to see cooking as a necessary but not enjoyable activity; I work two jobs and so I tend to just go for the most convenient option, rather than the healthier and more economical one. I am looking to get tips and tricks on where to start and how to simplify weekly menu planning. Thanks!

I buy 5lbs of chicken breast, slow cook it and put it in 4oz containers. Chop some veggies. Soup is good. Different chilis... Canned tuna.

@Silverfox420: there's more of the specifics I was looking for, thanks! And I suppose it's cheaper to buy a whole chicken at like Sam's (then I just have to cut it up) and put it in the crock pot with some veggies...because I work a split shift between two jobs almost everyday, I think the crock pot is going to be my best friend!
