Turtles have a pretty chill lifestyle, don't they?

They just need to come out of their shell more often.

Till someone grabs them and turns them upside down on a fencepost.

At least that species does

...until they become soup

Snapping turtles in a farm pond are bad news for calves. They stick their head down to get a drink of water and a snapping turtle will bite their nose. My friend & her husband spent a weekend helping a friend shoot them to stop that. They got turtle soup for a reward.
