Ever dropped what you have just cooked?

Made a delicious flan then dropped it all over the floor as I got it out. Heartbroken! Anyone else done this?

Oh My!!! This has happened to me!! I made a batch of bourbon chicken. I cut and cooked pieces of raw chicken and tossed them in a pre-made sauce. I think I may have tasted one small serving before I accidentally knocked the rest of it on my kitchen floor. I was so devastated!

I go by the 20-second rule: if I can pick it up in that time and get it back on the plate it's OK to eat.

I dropped a chocolate sculpture I made a few years ago. I actually cried.

yup, it sucks even more when you're cooking professionally and you've screwed up someone else's meal

Did anyone see it?.. Then it didn't happen

SO sorry!!! It feels like a waste... I know the exact feeling

No but I'd be licking it off the floor if it were me

Not dropped it but ruined a tray of flap-jacks by my difficulty in judging when it was baked properly. It started to dry suddenly, I took it out of the oven, then watched in dismay as the heat the cake and tray still contained, burnt the lot.

Kind of .. I droped a glass lid on a casserole dish as I was taking it off and the lid shattered into it .. .. .. no choice but to throw out hours of work and go out to eat .. ..

I did once. Made some pasta, placed it in a bowl like plate and as I was bringing it in, the plate snapped in half
