Banana pudding trifle

Used to adore this as a kid and haven't had it in ages, so took a stab at it.

Did you ever have orange trifle with orange segments in orange jelly? That's delicious.

{@vicdraco] sorry to show my ignorance bute is there jelly and cream as a tradional trifle or is that it 🤫

@smiler2012 I just called it what the internet called it. As a kid we just called it banana pudding. But now they sell boxes of banana flavored pudding mix, so the simplified name gets confusing. I don't think jelly is required for trifle. Trifles usually a fruit, some kind of spongey cake, and whipped creme. Traditional trifles usually also infuse the cakes with sherry.

This is bananas, vanilla wafers that get softened by soaking in the pudding, and whipped creme. So it's generally considered close enough by american standards. But we also make our shepherd's pie with beef, so take it with a grain of salt.
