Utility stuff !

Mince can make a dozen different dishes.
Stewing beef the same.
Hundred different ways to cook potatoes.
Onions are always useful.
Pasta is a good 'filler' for cheap meals.
Tinned soups can be used for sauces.
Chili powder; curry powder; cornflour can all enhance soups/stews and cassaroles.

Shepherd pie, with a mashed potato crust, beef stew filling, and shredded cheese on top. It's fab.

Pork snitzel with potatoes and peas, then apple strudel with cream and ice cream

Chili dog casserole. It's very simple to make and can go a long way. Will give you the recipe if you wish

When I want a change of pace, I cook vegetarian. (And I am definitely a meat lover.)

Try quinoa salad bowls and falafels with pita bread and shrimp pasta/linguine 😊

Stews.... Do you have a slow cooker?

All I can think about today is spaghetti. 🤤
