How many grams of protein you take in one day?

@samdx008: and thats mainly in whole foods such as chicken, fish, peanuts. Then i have maybe one large natural yogurt and a whey protein shake. I think 100g is enough for the average active persoin with a physical job who plays sports. Any more would be for strength sports, still rings gymnastics, olympic lifting, strongman or bodybuilding

@samdx008: thats just from my experience. I mean you can be strong and healthy on less but i dont think you will grow on less than about 1 gram per pound of lean bodyweight. Thats lean bodyweight not how much fat you are carrying

Yeah I used to go overkill on protein, but thats a waste. Then i stopped training and trained gymnastics eating much less protein and staying lean and I have revently started bodybuilding, where I think you need about 1g per pound. Again thats not for everyone, if you arent training youd probably just poop it back out or grow nicer hair and nails lol
