Were you ever afraid to put something into the microwave?

I used to feel nervous for quite some time after in 2011 for some reason I wanted to just warm up some chocolate cream, and 5 seconds and a flash of light later the microwave's time was over. 8 years later, some scientists found out that the ingredients were dangerous for the microwave's engine. But still when I hear something blow up in the microwave, I feel like "damn, I shouldn't have put that in".
