I received a phone call from my local hospital yesterday, and when I donated to them for PPE and for the ICU, I was thinking of you, and how brave you have been.

@4meAndyou i have been encouraging my coworkers to take vitamins. I’ve been eating a lot of fish and greens and things that boost immunities. They aren’t giving us the proper ppe were supposed to even have to be dealing with these patients. 🙄 I’m actually switching jobs Tuesday I’ll go back to my old job once my special mask arrives

@DeluxedEdition I am glad to hear it. I am not wealthy, but I have given to my local hospital's doctors and nurses because I don't want them to die while taking care of ME.

You are right to leave if your employer will not give you what you need to stay safe.

@Keepitsimple What I heard was they crashed the system. Too many callers all at once...blue screen of system death...server overload.

Most people save enough money to get by for one month...and most people can even last for two months if they eat all the food in their house. But I know that I have been trying not to go out since I started hearing about this stuff at the end of January. I am still okay...but I have a nosebleed from the price gouging ordering canned and dried foods online.

2 million dead worldwide.

@4meAndyou it’s an old system that some states use still (our computers are 60 years old) they are begging for help from those that know that language but I have a hunch somebody’s gone blow up Trenton before the help arrives.

I never told you this story, but I was attending counseling at my local domestic violence center...a hidden location for abused women in my town...and they operated a tiny food pantry in the back room. They always offered me food when I was trying to figure out how to live on my own and stay safe, and all the life hacks were excellent, too.

I remember sitting in the waiting room one day, and a grandmother was sitting there with her little grandson, and he kept saying, "Grandma, Grandma...can I PLEASE have some Ramen noodles? Pleeeezz????"

My heart just broke right then, because there was a hungry little kid who didn't even have a 10 cent package of ramen noodles to eat. They were 10 for a dollar back then.

And I think of him, and all the other hungry little kids I met while working in the Homeless shelter and working at the drug rehab shelter, and there are not just a few these days even when everyone was WORKING...there are thousands and thousands of hungry little kids because of covid19.

And then this entitled horrible nasty MILLIONAIRESS goes on national television and shows off all her chocolate candy and her $13 dollar a pint fro-yo. I am shocked that she didn't PRAY for all our hungry American children right afterward. That's what she usually does

I think she needs to be locked in a room with no food for a week...just so she knows how those children FEEL.

Sorry. That turned into a rant...but someone needs to make that witch[i] hungry.[/i]
