Two-stage frying is what got me to french fries I am very very happy with.

And yeah I've done that a few times where I decide to keep cooking something until I'm happy with the end result.
People love my cornbread. 😊

The secret to perfect french fries is to soak them in water for about 20 minutes. Pat them dry before frying.
Axelerator · 26-30, M
@curiosi My current technique involves boiling the sliced pieces, then putting them to dry in the fridge, to suck out more moisture. And then later frying them in sunflower oil, two times is ideal I think
There's websites devoted to that!
