Do you eat black eyed peas, collards and hogjaw for new years

Hogjaw btw is disgusting

I don't eat them anytime. 馃あ
No.
I've only tried black eyed peas once and, for this bean lover, they were a disappointment.
Might explain the "luck".

Being from northern Canada the food is a lil different.

@CountScrofula whats traditional new year's food there
CountScrofula41-45, M
@Mountainlady16 Since the area I'm in was only settled in the last hundred years we don't really have a consistent tradition. There's a lot of Ukranians who will serve traditional Ukranian dishes, but it'll vary. I'm more generic Canadian so there's no traditional New Year's food. We just serve snacks and drink sparkling wine.

Sometimes I have black-eyed peas but I don't eat pork. I wouldn't mind collard greens.

We have a big pot of red beans and rice every New Year's Day.
