Since my son in law food poisoned us all Christmas
I have been asked will I please take my job back over smoking the turkeys
they were trying to just let me enjoy the holiday
My family goes to the mission and feed the homeless
they load up their cars with hot meals and carry them to shut ins
by the time they are done ,I am done smoking the turkeys
everyone brings a dish ,,we pig out
Then we light the bond fire and sing as a family until everyone is tired
everyone cleans up ,we take pics ,lots of them
then we all go crash ,,from a long day of work ,good food and family time
Giving thanks to our Lord for allowing us another year
Grandma is in her 80's ,still able to sing
She can't hear well ,,but with all of us singing ,she does just fine

it usto be celebrated with family, but now it's a day where you go wait in line and fight over shit. Now its black Thursday and Thanksgiving is something you eat for breakfast or lunch before you go and shop...so sad
