I think so

I can do fairly well in the kitchen...I am no trained and experienced chef by any means, but I can be a little creative and I have had very few to no complaints.

I can read a cookbook and follow directions without feeling the need to take shortcuts or get creative. So, Yes.

Cooking ain't never been my strongest point...

Im pretty good at it most of the time.

I'm an excellent cook.
