US food system is messed up

Can't say I have seen a salad that expensive.

Then make your own salad or grow your own veggies. It’s cheaper.

Agreed - it costs way less to eat like sh*t as opposed to healthy.
Sadly we pay for it with increased insurance costs, un-needed disability benefits, etc.

in here is the other way around we consider fast food expensive lol and only consume it as a treat. so there aren't 1 dollar burguers. wish they were though

The healthy choices are the most expensive and the cheaper one is because of mass production in quantity is massive and cost effective. The system isn’t messed up but how it made for business. Fast foods are a choice of luxury
