If restaurants use alcohol in a recipe are they allowed to serve it to minors

curiosi · 61-69, F Best Comment
Alcohol dissipates in heat. If it is cooked there is no alcohol in it.

Alcohol is burned off, like in tgif’s jack danials bourbon glaze

A local bar serves burgers with bourbon in them and it states on the menu that you have to be over 20 years of age to order it.

But if it’s cooked alcohol, I think there’s no age restriction.

Yeah it isn't concentrated enough to get you drunk.

If the alcohol is not strong then yes. I know some parents put a bit of wine into milk so their babies can go to sleep

I think you'll find it's cooked off during the coming process ...

Yes, if it is then cooked. All the alcohol burns out.
