Hey so is it weird to get freaked out over eating an apple and carefully consider and reconsider the calories ?

There isn’t many other things that have less calories than an apple.
YourBuddyRandall · 26-30, M
You actually burn more calories from eating an apple than you gain.

Sounds just like me in my teen years. I still care but to a lesser extent. An apple won’t do much
SW-User
Apple? No. Cake? Yes
Quizzical · 46-50, M
I would not worry too much about an apple if I were you... I believe they are considered a 'negative calorie' food, meaning that it takes more energy to digest them than they actually contain. Celery is another on those.

@Quizzical that's good to know

Yes, your body needs food. Starving yourself will make your body go into survival mode. You store fat instead.
antisocialbutterfly · 22-25, F
@SweetMae I'm not starving myself...just dieting...and regretting every single calorie I eat
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@antisocialbutterfly That is good. Exercise kept me slim enough to eat what I wanted.
antisocialbutterfly · 22-25, F
good for you
Isthisit · F
No. Not if your paranoid about calories. Do you have an eating disorder?
Isthisit · F
@antisocialbutterfly Youre trying to lose weight? try monitoring your portion sizes instead of calories.
antisocialbutterfly · 22-25, F
that won't make me feel good...I am trying to lose weight
Isthisit · F
@antisocialbutterfly you can lose weight by monitoring your portion sizes. Like only eating half of what you go to eat. etc

Not weird. I understand. I knew the calories of everything by the time I was ten sadly because the world and society are so fucked and retarded.
kartoffelkopf2 · 36-40, M
After that 3kg chocolate cake you just ate, yes
antisocialbutterfly · 22-25, F
@kartoffelkopf2 why are you assuming that I'm fat and eat a lot?
XReaganX · 26-30, F
Ummmn did you eat just an apple?
antisocialbutterfly · 22-25, F
@XReaganX yes as a snack
XReaganX · 26-30, F
@antisocialbutterfly shouldn't worry. Apples are generally 70 cals but your body will burn those cals differently say a cookie. Not every calorie is equal is my point. So, eating an apple is WAAAAYYYYY better than eating 70 cals of some other sweet. 😊 Nothing to worry about.
why are you concerned about it?

Yeah.
I'd understand if it was a cake.
