Anybody here eaten ghost pepper hot wings before ?

Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
I've eaten a ghost before
@reflectingmonkey I never have decided. It was right after I moved to New Mexico from Pennsylvania. Neighbors invited me for tacos.

I quite literally could not breathe or speak. After a minute the breath came back it was an hour or so before I could speak.

I still don't know if it was hazing or what.

@Mamapolo2016 I absolutely do not like practical jokes, and I do think it was a terrible thing to not warn you.
@reflectingmonkey No future in carrying a grudge. I've just politely declined all dinner invitations.

No! I love hot spicy food, and use tabasco as some use ketchup, but I am not insane!

Heat is not a flavor. Heat done right accentuates flavor, heat like ghost peppers or Carolina Reaper peppers destroys flavor - as well as taste buds.

Ghost pepper eating contests often put people in the hospital. It just doesn't seem fun or enjoyable!

Eating is not meant to be a painful challenge; it's meant to be enjoyed.

Do you put ghost pepper juice in your eyes to see if you survive the challenge? Just asking.
