When you are food shopping, do you say the item loudly just before you pick it up?

I used to, until the eggplant said, ‘Of course I’m an eggplant. Do you know any purple oranges?’

I don't say that, I say out loud " 4 dollars??Are these people insane???" stuff like that...in every isle. The people that hear me say it almost always chime in and agree
