Why is food so expensive?

That's agribusiness for you. Get used to it, climate change is moving the crop seasons and yields.. Luckily you will still be able to afford it.. But for the half billion who wont be able in 20 years its going to get tough..

One reason is we've been losing farmers for decades and they aren't allowed to replant from seeds. Monsanto is so powerful they legally had a law passed that farmers had to use new seed.I don't remember it all but it was a wake up call years ago

7+ billion to eat, not many to do farming.

Because we're all complicet in the illusion sellers portray that it is expensive, and continually pay ridiculas prices for substandard crap. We complain to eat other never the profiteering sellers, when was the last time you said to your canvassing politician what about food prices?

If we ate people meat would be a lot cheaper

When you have the munchies you eat more.

Labour cost can be one reason, raw ingredients etc.

Coz there are too many dang humans
