I like Honeycrisp and some of its clones, like Snapdragon and Crimson Crisp. I just bought a new variety this afternoon called Firecracker, but haven't tried it yet.
Snapdragon - it's kind of a honeycrisp spinoff.

I like so many
Honeycrisp. Granny smith is a close second.

@AcidBurn Honeycrisp are good, but overpriced. (The 'inventors' get paid royalties on them.) Fruit should not cost more per pound than meat, poultry, or some types of fish. Honeycrisp are $5 a pound at my stores.
@Byron8by7 Where I used to live there were apple farms that sold them a lot cheaper. Here I only get them as a treat because of the price.

@Zoranna I should have perused your choice before replying If you ever have a chance to try Jazz apples, do so. I can't imagine you wouldn't like them.

@Byron8by7 I should have paid more attention too. I presumed it was "Deadcutie" replying. Duh! Thanks, I'll have a look for them next time I'm shopping.

@Zoranna Jazz apples were cultivated in New Zealand. I hope they are available in your area.
