I Love Books
I picked up a H/C copy of 'medium raw' by Anthony Bourdain for 2 bucks about a year before he died figuring I might love it a fraction as much as the waterstained pb of kitchen confidential I devoured as a young chef in between slugs of good wine.
It sat on the shelf by the window for months before I noticed it's an autographed first edition.Luckily kind of beat up so I can actually get around to reading it and not sweat fingerprints and stuff. Fully meant to be that I would dig this gem out of a pile of thriftstore crap. That boy was a rockstar.
