I Love My Dad With All My Heart
It’s been interesting this Xmas...
In all my years alive I had never seen my dad drunk before but, this Christmas Day? Wow, did that change! Lol!
Think he had a tough ending, work wise, to the ending of the year....and, I guess, that being close to some of the people he helps with their court cases means that he can get emotional too.
So...few beers to relax....then smiling....then more beers....hugging mum....dancing whilst sorting out the sprouts....more beers....missing the arm of the sofa, repeatedly, as he was trying to push up into standing....laughing loudly whilst playing board games....hugging all us kids....until finally, mum had to help him to bed....
It was lovely to see him lighten up....
Mind you, mum told us that he had a stinking headache the next day...
...but, true to how he usually is, he never moaned to us.
He’s the best!
