baked my first cake successfully!! a pound cake recipe with cranberrys and blueberrys.poured the batter into 2 loaf pans and covered with a glaze...DELICIOUS!! calls for 2 whole sticks of butter...i had no idea so much butter was used in most recipes haha
always a gamble...picking out a good honeydew melon or potatocooked pot of soup 5 hours and the potatoes were still hard. removed them from soup and boiled an extra hour on stovetop. STILL HARD!! last month left a baking potato in small crockpot couple hours and it was picked too early also.
